Dear Parents, Faculty and Staff,
On behalf of the 2019-2020 PTA Board, welcome to our online home!
In the coming weeks and throughout the school year, we will be working with the administration to provide as much information on events at our school. We hope you’ll take advantage of the calendar which is available on our site to plan for the school year and be active in the events your child(ren) will be participating in.
We also encourage you to visit our online shop for spFundraising is a vital part of keeping the PTA going. Please visirit items such as the Spirit Shirts which students wear every Friday. This year, we are offering a promotion when you purchase two or more shirts! Visit the store for details. Supplies are limited so you do not want to miss out.
it that page for fundraising activities you can do throughout the year including the Chocolate sales we started last year. Simply participate when possible and you will be eligible to earn service hours. Each family is required to get 30 hours per year in order to remain enrolled in our Charter system. Volunteering to help at our events or by selling boxes of chocolate will earn you hours. It is a fun, easy, and rewarding way to accumulate the hours needed to satisfy the requirement. It’s that easy!
Are you a member of PTA? If not, visit our Board page and click on the subheading for PTA Registration Form to sign up and pay the dues in our online shop. A link is provided when you fill out the form to make payment over the web. This year, the membership program is as follows: one parent, one child pays the normal $10.00 fee. Families of two paying members (parents, grandparents, guardians, etc.) and one or more children pay a family fee of just $20.00. So, it’s just $10 per adult. We certainly hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to join the PTA and support our school. We are also awarding 2 service hours just for enrolling in the PTA membership program.
NOTE: Many parents are hesitant to join because they don’t have time to attend meetings and don’t want to commit. Joining the PTA doesn’t commit you to attending meetings or even participating. By joining, you’re contributing to our membership drive which seeks to enroll every parent in the PTA and your $10 contribution goes a long way towards our school improvement projects throughout the year. Things like computers for the school, agendas for the students just to name a few. Also, it is worth mentioning each year requires a new membership. It is an annual enrollment.
Thank you for your continued support of the PTA and for our new Kindergarten parents, WELCOME!
